Small City vs. Big City

At the end of the month we’re moving our office space from Falls Church, VA 22043 (which lies in Fairfax County) to Falls Church, 22046 (which lies in the City of Falls Church). I live in Falls Church, 22042 (also part of the gigantic Fairfax County). My wife and kid have used some of the Falls Church City resources, like the community center, and we’ve always thought the city was nice.
Since we decided to move the company into the City I’ve spent more time learning about how the city operates. It’s really quite interesting. It’s not that big of a place and I think active people with enough time and energy can have a real impact on certain aspects of city life. That’s a lot different than how things operate in Fairfax County and other areas around here. I’m looking forward to learning more about how things really work in the City.
