I’m at about the end of the first quarter. I’ll publish this at half-time (I’m watching somewhat delayed on my TiVo). So far, these are my thoughts:
The field seems strangely slippery - for an artificial surface.
That interference call on Smoot was a terrible call but…
The Skins secondary is terrible and has no depth [...]

I knew this would happen. I actually thought it would happen sooner. My backlog of pre-written blog posts has dried up! It didn’t take long. I thought my plan of sitting down every few days and cranking out several short posts would hold up (actually, I didn’t really think it would [...]

If you know me (and if you don’t why on Earth are you reading this?) then you know I’m a huge fan of the Washington Redskins. Growing up I never thought much about the name. I often was annoyed by the logo on the helmet, not because it might be offensive to anyone but because [...]

Brian recently posted about Demetric Evans’ inspirational story as told in this Washington Post article. And now, just a few days later, we get the very sad news of Sean Taylor’s death. We don’t yet know what really happed or if Sean’s death was related to problems that he had in the past. In many [...]

I sat through last week’s game versus the Patriots and obviously as a Skins fan it was really painful to watch. I know there has been some debate about whether or not running up the score is something the Pats should have done or not. I wish they hadn’t, but that doesn’t count [...]

The Skins open their pre-season on Saturday. I won’t get too excited yet (pre-season is way too long) but it does mean we’re getting close to the regular season. I hope the Skins can turn it around this year.
